Getting Here
Arkansas City is located in Desha County in southeast Arkansas, along the banks of the Arkansas River. We're easily accessible from U.S. Highway 65 and Arkansas Highway 4.
- From Little Rock: Take US-65 S approximately 100 miles south to Dumas, then AR-4 E to Arkansas City — about 2 hours.
- From El Dorado: Head north on US-65 approximately 60 miles through Monticello to Arkansas City — about 1 hour.
- From Texarkana: Head east on I-30 to Hope, then take US-278 E through Magnolia and El Dorado, continuing north on US-65 to Arkansas City — about 2.5 hours.
